  • Best of Renaissance and Medieval Florence Walking Tour

The tour starts from the peculiar Central Market Zone, characterized by its workshops and multicolored stalls where the Medicean Chapels and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medici’s Family, are located. In a short time we reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell-tower by Giotto, and the Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door. The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Continuing on you can find Palazzo del Bargello. Not far away is the Piazza della Signoria, a great “open-air sculpture museum” overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it, we find the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums in the world. Then you proceed to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market) where the famous Piggy Fountain is located. Walk along the street leading to Ponte Vecchio, the “jewels bridge.” Finally, cross the bridge to reach wonderful Pitti Palace.
  • Pisa Tour with Round Trip

Pisa is one of the most visited cities in Tuscany and it is famous for its Leaning Tower. The beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli is among the most beautiful monumental complexes in the world. The town's most prosperous period was undoubtedly the 12th century and this is witnessed by the urban shape of the old town centre with many buildings, squares and alleyways that run along the river Arno, which was for centuries the major communication route. It has always been an estuary town and was already an important naval base in Roman times intensifying trade in the Mediterranean. Pisa is also famous for one of the most prestigious higher learning institutions of Europe: the Scuola Normale Superiore. An authorised city guide will accompany you in the visit of the interior of the Cathedral and the exterior of the Leaning Tower and Monumental Cemetery. At the end of the tour you will also have free time to wonder in the square and take plenty of pictures. Option including the entrance to the Leaning Tower is available for this tour.
  • Chianti Half day afternoon tour

The beautiful ruby-red colour and the characteristic bouquet with scents of violet are the special features that reveal the identity of one of the most famous wines in the world: Chianti. This wine results from the wise blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and originates from the hilly area from which it draws its name. You will discover the breathtaking, uncontaminated landscapes that have been cradling the Chianti vineyards for centuries, presenting you a harmony of colours that can only be found in the hills of this region. The sounds, scents and flavours of this land will capture your senses through a unique experience that you will live, relish and comprehend by visiting ancient churches, medieval castles and small villages where the rhythm of life remains unaltered over time. The tour continues with a visit to a charming wine estate where you will take part in a guided tour of the wine cellars in order to gain insight into the various stages of wine production and in a tasting of the various wines that the winery produces, paired with samples of sliced cold meats, bruschetta and salami. During the tour you will see the characteristic fortress of Monteriggioni. There you will find some shops specialized in typical Tuscan products, as well as elegant cafes where you can stop and enjoy a coffee or a gelato. Subsequently, the tour includes a second tasting of olive oil and wine in another local winery.
